Bio

He was born in San José, Costa Rica in 1979.

He started his piano studies at 9 years old. He trained in both classical and jazz music. He was received as a "National Piano Teacher" and specialized in Composition at the "Lopez Buchardo" National Conservatory. On the other hand, in particular, he studied jazz and improvisation with Diego Schissi, Guillermo Romero, Juan “Mono” Fontana and Andrés Beewsaert. He also studied piano technique with Susana Agrest, and arrangements and composition with Guillermo Klein, Guillermo Pozzatti and Juan "Pollo" Raffo.

Delucchi joined the Latin jazz orchestra Jue Mandinga, with which he released two albums. In addition, he was part of the following groups: Pablo Valotta Grupo, Fruta Bomba and Flavio Romero Grupo, among others. He also accompanied soloists such as Gabo Ferro, Belén Pasqualini and Sonia Kovalivker.

He currently conducts his own quintet with Sergio Wagner, Christian Terán, Diego Goldzsein and Tomás Babjacsuk. He also works as Orchestra Director in the “Choirs and Orchestras for the Bicentennial” Program, as Pianist and Director of several musicals on Corrientes Street (Eva, Swenney Todd, And One Day Nico Left, etc.), and as a teacher Particular of Piano and Harmony.
