Bio
He began his guitar studies in the city of Resistencia (Chaco, Argentina). He was awarded a scholarship to participate in the international event "To touch life", held on Isla del Cerrito. There he participated in Workshops dictated by Egberto Gismonti, Rufus Reid, Jaime Torres, Naná Vasconcelos, Néstor Marconi, Hermeto Pascoal, Hugo and Osvaldo Fattoruso, John Lee, “Chango” Farías Gómez, Steve Dancz, Gil Jardim and Leo Maslíah, among others. He completed a year of composition studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts in the city of La Plata and at the same time took guitar and improvisation classes with Nestor Gomez. He is a graduate of the Professional Musician career at the School of Contemporary Music (Berklee International Network) and the jazz career of the Conservatorio Superior "Manuel de Falla". During both careers he studied with many of the most renowned jazz musicians in Argentina such as Ernesto Jodos, Juan Pablo Arredondo, Hernan Merlo, Eloy Michelini, Marcelo Gutfraind, Juan “Pollo” Raffo and Mariano Otero, among others. He also studied guitar in a particular way with Pino Marrone and Juan Pablo Arredondo.
Since 2011 he leads his own Quartet, made up of Fran Cossavella , Fernando Toyos and Miguel Crozzoli ; and with which he has recorded two discs: The Color in the Shadows (2011) and the New Snark (KUAI007). He has participated in the discs Cycles of light (KUAI006) and # 12, by Miguel Crozzoli and Pablo Butelman respectively. In addition, he has written and played music on the works of plastic artists Silvia Gurfein (during the exhibition "Lo intratable", Fundación Federico Klemm) and Martin Lanezan and Carmen Villa (during the exhibition "Estar" Galería Diagonal.
